Director/Screenwriter John Lee Hancock (THE BLIND SIDE, SAVING MR. BANKS) visited the AFI Campus recently and spoke about his work with AFI Distinguished Scholar in Residence James Hosney. Here he discusses the difference between directing for the theater and motion pictures and recounts the way he directed Brian Cox in a scene from his family baseball drama THE ROOKIE (2002).
