David Lynch (THE ELEPHANT MAN, BLUE VELVET) received an honorary Doctor of Arts degree at the AFI Conservatory Commencement Ceremony held at the historic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on June 13.  Here, accompanied by Laura Dern, who he directed in three films, Lynch answers questions from graduating Fellows about finding his voice, working with Mel Brooks (who also received an honorary doctorate) and originating ideas for his films.
